Tips, story leads, & corrections.
Email is the channel. If a published brief contains an error, if a market practice we should be covering has reached your desk, or if you have a confidential source — this is how to reach us.
For corrections
If a published brief contains a factual error, please write us promptly. Subject "Correction" plus the brief title and the date. Substantive corrections are issued with a dated note appended to the brief and, where the error materially affected a recommendation, with a banner at the top of the page until the correction has been distributed.
For story tips
If a market practice we should be covering has reached your desk — new evidence of consumer harm, a structural change at a regulator, an industry behavior we have not yet documented — please write. We do not pay for tips. We do protect the identity of sources who request confidentiality, in writing, before the tip is acted on.
For brands & sponsors
Subject "Sponsorship". The Desk takes a limited number of sponsored slots per month. We have a 30-day evaluation requirement before any sponsored brief is published. We do not run banner advertising, programmatic display, or fixed-price native ads. Sponsored briefs are essay-form with full editorial control on our end.
For press
Subject "Press". Theo is occasionally available for comment on consumer credit, professional services, household finance, and adjacent topics. Please include the publication, deadline, and the angle.
Mailing address
For legal correspondence only — ask in your email and we will provide the current mailing address.
